A week of science, training and networking!
From 14 to 18 September, the INCITE Doctoral Network gathered in Würzburg, Germany, bringing together doctoral candidates, supervisors, researchers and project partners from across the network.
The week featured an exciting scientific programme covering topics such as neurogenetics, evolutionary genetics, luciferase assays, immunohistochemistry and imaging. Our doctoral candidates also had the chance to share their research through flash talks and poster sessions, leading to plenty of interesting questions, discussions and exchanges across the network.
Beyond the science, participants took part in sessions on doctoral training, supervision, professional development and entrepreneurship, while social activities – from a welcome barbecue and group dinner to an evening quiz – provided plenty of opportunities to connect and get to know each other.
The Würzburg conference was a great opportunity to strengthen collaboration across the INCITE network and celebrate the progress of our doctoral candidates.
